Visiter le magnifique parc Maria Luisa en Andalousie pour une excursion d’une journée

Seville is one of the most beautiful places to visit with your family. This wonderful city has a fantastic surprise for everyone. Maria Luisa Park is a beautiful green space that is worth visiting.

It is a vast space with exotic trees, fairy tale buildings, pools, and fountains, and vibrantly colored beaches. The park is located to the south of the city center and is not far away from the river. This half-mile oasis is covered with pine trees, colorful flower beds, orange trees, elms, and pavilions.

You can escape the crowd of the buzzing city of Seville. It is not too crowded and is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the peace away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Andalusia city. You can explore the park by riding on a horse and carriage. You can enjoy the wide avenues shaded by the boughs of ancient trees. If you want to have a more adventurous experience, you can hire a bike and can explore this beautiful garden.

The main part of the park is its huge Plaza de Espana. It was erected by architect Anibal Gonzalez. It is a semi-circular brick building and was built for the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929. It is a must-see attraction of Seville. The building has a Renaissance Moorish design with an imposing tower at either end. This huge plaza measures 50,000 square meters. The most important feature is vibrantly colored ceramics alongside ornate bridges, balustrades, balconies, and provincial alcoves.

Guided tours of this beautiful Park take place throughout the year but you can explore this beautiful green space by walking around its leafy paths and avenues by foot.

The park is only a five-minute walk from the city center and you can also take your kids who get bored with sightseeing. There are many ponds to paddle and loads of play areas for younger children. For older kids, there is a museum of Popular Arts and Traditions.

Monte Gurugu us a rocky mound and has stairs for climbing it up. There is a waterfall falling on the other side with a tunnel cut through the bottom of the mountain. At the top, there is a shaded pavilion where you can enjoy a beautiful view.

Another place to visit in the park is the Pavilion of Alfonso XII. It is located on the edge of a small lake. It is a beautiful Moorish style pavilion that is not looked after. But, you can see ducks, swan, and frogs in the water. The pavilion is named for the king of Spain at that time.

On the southern end of the park, there are two grandest pavilions, the Bellas Artes and the Mudejar which are now used as museums. The former consists of the city’s archaeology collections. The latter exhibits arts and culture with collections of antique lace and tiles, and traditional Andalucía craftsmanship such as silversmithing, tannery, and ironwork. In between the two pavilions is a beautiful plaza called Plaza de America. You can stroll around in the spring when all the roses bloom and the area looks beautiful.
